Donations
If you would like to make a donation to our Trust, we would be delighted to hear from you.
We can receive donations in many different ways including cash and cheques, through a salary scheme such as 'Give As You Earn', by donation of shares, or items for sale and through legacies.
Please contact us for details of how we can best help you to make a donation and to make what you give to us tax effective, through the Gift Aid scheme.
Make giving less taxing!!
If you Gift Aid your donation, The James Gillespie's Trust will continue to receive an additional 28p. The Trust can claim Gift Aid tax relief of 25p on every pound you give. HMRC will also be operating transitional provisions for Gift Aid donations made from 6 April 2008 until 5 April 2011, paying a Government supplement of 3p on every pound you give.
In effect, this means that
the charity recieves an additional 28p for every pound you donate,
at no extra cost to you!
